Fields of business
The company works in the field of metal forming. They offer consulting
and simulation service, technology transfer and research & development. The
philosophy is to transfer new research results into practical solutions and
also to solve "simple" daily problems.
Mayor field of business are the simulation
of metal forming processes,
the investigation in material data,
the work, co-operation or also co-ordination
in R&D projects (public founded projects as well as bilateral
projects on national, European and international level, in networks as well as
in direct co-operation with a single company) and direct service and consultancy in industry.
CPM also represents international companies
offering accessoires for cold forming like dosing systems or tooling.
CPM participates in several work groups of industrial organizations. CPM
is member of the German Fasteners Association (Deutscher Schraubenverband
(DSV)), the German Society of Materials Techniques (Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Materialtechnik (DGM)), the German Cold Forging Group (GCFG), the International
Cold Forging Group (ICFG) and the Confederation of British Metal forming (CBM).
